Summer Solstice at Thoreau’s Seat

Join GWLT at Thoreau’s Seat as we celebrate the longest day of
the year with a hike up Asnebumskit Hill to Thoreau’s Seat to watch the sunset, toast marshmallows, roast a few hot dogs, and spend time with good company!

Feel free to bring your own food to roast over the fire. GWLT will
provide hot dogs & vegan hot dogs as well as s’mores ingredients. RSVPs are much appreciated, but not required. Please park at
the end of Briarcliff Lane.

This is a short but challenging hike. A pole or walking stick will
be helpful, as will sturdy footwear, bug spray, and a headlamp or
flashlight for the hike down after sunset.
